Justin Bieber Becomes Pencils Of Promise Ambassador

Justin Bieber has been named as Pencils of Promise’s (PoP) first ever ambassador.

The singer was presented with an award prior to his show at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, NY by PoP executives.

Justin has pledged to donate $1 from the sale of every ticket sold during his Purpose tour to PoP, thereby allowing the charity to provide much-needed education to children in Ghana.


Pamela Anderson Donates For Domestic Violence

The actress and model Pamela Anderson has donated $50,000 to  the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

Pamela’s donation will help The Hotline’s work in educating and providing resources to parents who are experiencing abuse, as well expand the online resources available for parents in abusive relationships.

Pamela made the donation on behalf of her foundation, which often works with the Hotline as well as other charities, such as PETA.


Tom Hiddleston Visits Students at Hampstead School

As an Unicef UK ambassador, the Avengers actor heard views from students at Hampstead School, London.

Alongside the Secretary of State for International Development Justine Greening, Tom discussed the upcoming the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul.

Tom said: ““At the very first World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul in less than three weeks’ time, a ground-breaking new fund will be launched to get vital education to every child in need. We must make sure that education in emergencies is prioritised”.


Mario Lopez Raises Funds For Leukemia

Saved By The Bella actor Mario Lopez took part in Hot Dog on A Stick’s Stomp-a-Thon, which helped raise money towards the brand’s target of $70,000.

Mario spent time with Katie, a three year old in remission after suffering Leukemia, learning to stomp lemonade.

The event, held at LA’s Muscle Beach raised $15,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma.
